Job Title: Business Manager
Reports To: Head of Motors Business
Supervises: Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Admin & Logistics Staff
Locations: Lagos, Rivers
Age Limit: Not more than 45 years
Compensation: 7.5M– 9M gross p.a. + official vehicle, phone line, and HMO (max. 6 family members)
Job Purpose
Lead and drive the performance, profitability, and growth of the Motors business unit by executing strategic sales plans, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing teams to deliver consistent value to the organization and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
• Drive sales targets and ensure sustainable revenue growth.
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Ensure profitable inventory and working capital management.
Team & Performance Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the motors sales and operations team.
• Cascade KPIs and coach team members to achieve performance targets.
• Collaborate with HCD to recruit, train, and develop talent.
Operations & Compliance
• Ensure operational excellence across all sales and service touchpoints.
• Oversee documentation, logistics, and asset utilization within the unit.
• Monitor business metrics and report performance insights.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Management
• Represent the brand in internal and external engagements.
• Build and manage key relationships with customers, regulators, and partners.
• Support the Head of Motors Business with day-to-day strategic and tactical functions.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
• 8–12 years relevant experience, with minimum 4 years in strategic sales/management roles
• Automotive industry background is preferred
