Minimum requirements for the role:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field is highly advantageous
Minimum 3-5 years experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing
Must have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG
Knowledge of version control systems and bug tracking systems is essential
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is advantageous
Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and documentation abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Performing manual testing on various software applications, ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance meet specified requirements.
Developing, maintaining, and executing test cases and test plans based on software requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand software features and requirements.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation and reports.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, verifying bug fixes and ensuring their resolution.
Implementing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for regression and functional testing.
Conducting performance, load, and stress testing, and providing recommendations for optimization.
Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools and technologies.
Participating in code reviews and contributing to the overall quality of the development process.
