Various Locations: Baltimore, MD; Culpeper, Leesburg, Lynchburg, Fredericksburg and Manassas, VA.
KeyResponsibilities:
Provideexpert critical care to patients during air transport, ensuring safety andclinical excellence.
Collaborateeffectively with flight teams, patients, and external healthcare providers.
Maintaincompliance with company protocols, safety regulations, and medical standards.
Participatein ongoing education and training to uphold the highest care standards.
Schedule:Rotational shifts based on operational needs.
Requirements:
ActiveRN license to practice in Virginia.
Minimumof 3 years of critical care/emergency experience (5 years preferred).
Currentcertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and one of the following: TNATC, TNCC, ITLS,or PHTLS (NRP and instructor certifications preferred).
CFRNcertification within 24 months of hire.
Flightor transport experience preferred.
Successfulcompletion of the Medical Group education/orientation program.
Effectiveinterpersonal skills to work with team members, patients, and externalcustomers.
Weightlimit: Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.
Basiccomputer skills for electronic charting and communication.
Abilityto pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength andflexibility assessment, including lifting up to 100 pounds), and drugscreening.
