Responsibilities:
Supporting in all purchasing activities in plant, relating to a group of direct components to turbochargers.
Identifying potential suppliers for the current and future programs and work in conjunction with Engineering and Supplier Quality to approve and develop these sources of supply and their capabilities to supply parts to the Global BorgWarner facilities in Regional Structure.
Assisting in resourcing activities in Supply Chain area.
Identifying cost down opportunities and finding alternative suppliers of components for products.
Negotiating complex of critical supplier agreements in line with existing strategies.
Following established procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
Higher education in the field of Business, Economics, Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 3 years experience as a buyer, procurement or in supply chain area, in automotive, aviation or common industries.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel), knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
High interpersonal competence orientated on team-playing.
Experience in cost analysis or price breakdowns, high negotiations skills, experience with founding or electronics will be an benefit.
Fluent English both written and spoken.
Ability to gather and analyzing different data for making decision in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to work cross-functionally.
