The Electrical Engineer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and improving our range of magnetic components. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to quality. You will collaborate closely with our manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and our customers' evolving needs.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors.
Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
Required:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on magnetic components.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
