Job Description: * Client is searching for F/A-18 Seats Technician (Navy AME) willing to work on 1st shift at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.
Required Experience: * Aircraft maintenance.
* Experience working with ejection systems.
* Maintenance experience working on removal, install, inspection of aircraft systems/tools.
Position Responsibilities: * Technician maintains the following: Aircraft seats and canopy ejection systems, Gaseous O2, fire extinguishing, air conditioning, cockpit heat, pressurization and ventilation * Remove and install Oxygen system valves, gauges, converters and regulators.
* Remove, install, inspect and rig ejection seats, Cartridge Actuation Devices (CADS), shoulder harnesses and lap belts.
* Perform Daily, pre and post flight and periodic aircraft inspections.
* Perform flight operation activities to include daily, turnaround, launch and recovery including plane captain activities * Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
* Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
* Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
* Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
* Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
* Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). * Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Education: * High School diploma/GED and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.
vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
