Lead Full Stack React/.Net Developer

Position: Lead Full Stack React/.Net Developer

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – onsite 1 day a week, subject to increase)

Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Interview Process: Two rounds – Video or Phone + Video

Work Authorization: GC/Citizens only

Note: Only local candidates to Chicago. No relocation candidates will be considered.

Required Skills & Experience:

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer with proven enterprise-level expertise in:

• React and Reusable React Components

• Redux and Redux Sagas

• Dotnet Core

• Microservice Architecture

• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-grade applications

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment

• Lead the development of mission-critical applications using modern cloud-based technologies

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and applications

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with an emphasis on reusable components

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing

• Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, testing, and documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on development throughout project lifecycles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• 10+ years of experience in software design, development, and support

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with React, Redux, Redux-Sagas, and Jest

• 7+ years working in Agile development environments

• Strong expertise in Dotnet Core, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, Visual Studio, GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps

• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, unit/integration testing, and code reviews

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), especially .NET Core 6.x

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field

• Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)

• Familiarity with distributed messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, MQTT)

• Previous experience in the airline or travel industry is a plus
