Senior Automation Test Engineer Selenium with Java

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Selenium Automation Engineer with Java expertise to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UI automation, designing scalable frameworks, and working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks using Java.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and testing requirements.

Design and execute automated test scripts across various browsers and devices.

Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Diagnose issues, report bugs, and track fixes efficiently.

Implement robust logging and reporting mechanisms (e.g., ExtentReports, Allure). Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and promote best testing practices.

Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.

Strong understanding of OOP concepts and Java programming.

Experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

Working knowledge of BDD tools (Cucumber is a plus). Proficient in XPath, CSS selectors, and browser debugging tools.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience in version control systems (Git preferred). Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar). Knowledge of REST API testing tools is a bonus (e.g., RestAssured, Postman). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Page Object Model (POM), modular frameworks.

Exposure to cloud-based test platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). ISTQB or equivalent certification (desirable but not mandatory).
