Job Details:
Call coverage needed for specific dates: October 31st-November 4th, November 27th-December 1st, and December 19th-20th
Call back compensation when physically seeing patients (not for phone triage)
Coverage includes Stevens Point Emergency Department and occasional trips to Wausau (approximately 0-3 weekly trips)
Clinic patients typically seen in Stevens Point on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:00-12:00
Working with experienced technical staff in the clinic setting
Required skills include both surgical/invasive and non-surgical procedures
Experience with laser procedures (anterior segment, posterior segment, and YAG) required
Anterior segment surgical procedures required, including cataract removal experience
Posterior segment procedures and intra-ocular injections preferred
Interpretation skills for ultrasound, photos, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Board eligible physicians will be considered
IMLC not accepted
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
