Role Title: CAx Lab Coordinator - (Remote)

Location: Stuttgart, Germany. The selected candidate must be located near to Stuttgart so that they can go to Sindelfingen when required (sporadically).

Long Term Contract

Minimum years of experience: 5-8 years

German language required - minimum B2 level

Detailed Job Description:

• Supporting the Engineering Data Management (EDM) release process, a twice-yearly, six-month deployment lifecycle.

• Creating a testing environment via Citrix and providing it to stakeholders.

• Creating and configuring virtual machines with appropriate resources and settings.

• Creating optimized cloned master images for consistent VM deployment (i.e., master image creation and cloning).

• Machine catalogue and delivery group creation: organizing VMs into catalogs and delivery groups, ensuring secure user access.

• Configured Citrix Remote PC Access to integrate physical machines into the environment.

• Monitored resource pools, assigned user permissions, and ensured optimal utilization.

• Performed regular monitoring and troubleshooting via Citrix Director and Studio for environment stability.

• Conducted source validation for the provided source file from the application owner.

• Siemens NX source creation and install instruction creation and getting approval from the NX community.

• Analyzing by performing a technical review for the application readiness.

• Created pre-packages for the EDM application by using the InstallShield Packaging Tool.

• Deployed packages to testing environments via an internal tool.

• Creating package updates for frequent software enhancements during the M0 to M2 phase. • Performing reject + duplicate & confirmation of product from M0 to M2 phase.

• Finalized installation instructions and obtained stakeholder approval after testing.

• Creating and managing SharePoint for each product and documenting in detail to deliver source to EPL.

• Delivering packaging instructions to the global packaging factory team for final production packaging.

• Performing primary User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on final packages and providing approvals for productive deployment to EPL & GPF.

• Creating NX server packages and delivering them to global operations.

• Creating and managing CRM Install info and CRM bundle info for global operation.

• Deployed the final packages in the global master image and conducted smoke testing.

• Coordinated end-of-cycle deployments on scheduled weekends every six months.

• Providing support for applications and troubleshooting after a release weekend.

• Responsible for resolving L2- and L3-level application issues via tickets.

• Bridge between software responsible and service desk team post-release.
