Manufacturing Engineering Leader

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Leader will drive process improvements to increase throughput, reduce costs, and support operational efficiency. This role provides hands-on leadership for engineering and automation initiatives while mentoring a team, enhancing technical capabilities, and aligning with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor manufacturing and automation engineering teams.

• Align engineering priorities with production, quality, and business goals.

• Resolve technical issues through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Develop, document, and optimize casting and manufacturing processes.

• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Apply lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools to reduce waste and improve yield.

• Identify and implement new technologies and automation solutions.

• Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades for improved efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance and ensure customer specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering or a related function.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, blueprint reading, CAD, time studies, and process optimization.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Software: Experience with CAD and process monitoring systems.

• Travel & Scheduling: Onsite role with occasional cross-site coordination as needed.Company Description
