We are actively seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Engagement Specialist to join our team and help build strong, lasting relationships between our organization and the communities we serve. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building connections, enjoys public outreach, and is committed to making a positive impact.
Position Details
Onsite: Lake Orion, MI (local travel between Heartfelt campuses and community events)
Job Type: Regular, part-time
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, can flex with the season
Pay Range: $18-$25/hour
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement community outreach strategies to engage families, caregivers, and local organizations.
Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and informational sessions focused on early childhood development and education.
Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, chambers of commerce, schools, healthcare providers, community professionals, and other stakeholders.
Serve as a brand ambassador and liaison between the organization and the community, ensuring culturally responsive and inclusive engagement.
Collect and analyze feedback from community members to inform program development and improvement.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and prepare regular reports on engagement outcomes.
Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education, Community Development, or Marketing preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement/marketing, education, or event planning.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and the needs of diverse families.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Canva, and Google Workspace
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
