Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Handyman Estimator to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for individuals with construction experience, whether currently active in the field or retired. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to effectively seal the deal to keep our company thriving and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough on-site evaluations to determine project scope, requirements, and challenges.
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for handyman and maintenance services.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, customers, and employees to ensure clarity and alignment.
Convert pending estimates into scheduled jobs through diligent follow-ups.
Oversee projects to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
Collaborate with technicians and front desk staff to facilitate seamless operations.
Maintain organized records of estimates, client interactions, and project outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, handyman services, sales, or project estimation.
Strong background in customer service with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to supervise teams and coordinate effectively with both subcontractors and office staff.
Demonstrated expertise in closing deals and delivering profitable outcomes.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools is highly desirable.
Bi-lingual is a plus but not preferred
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
