Teaching Assistant - PreK

Summary:

Primary responsibility is to provide instructional assistance to Pre-K students. As directed by the principal and classroom teacher, the teaching assistant will also: work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity, supervise students during other activities such as lunch, and assist in completing necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the requirements for a Title I paraprofessional, including:

Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent and

Must have met one of the following options:

Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 credit hours); or

Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or

Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.

Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.

Salary:

2024-2025 Range for salary is $17.00 to 26.18 per hour plus full benefits package.

Workday:

Full time/10 month (183 days) position, 7.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday
