SR. Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. This role requires expertise in data visualization tools, programming languages, and a strong analytical mindset to drive business performance.

Duties

Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic initiatives.

Pull and validate data from internal systems including EMRs, scheduling platforms, and billing tools.

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor patient outcomes, staff performance, and key operational metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions that meet business needs.

Support compliance and quality initiatives through regular performance reporting and audit prep.

Lead project management efforts for analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery of insights and recommendations.

Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role with a strong portfolio of projects.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros, data visualization tools).

Experience with ETL processes and database design principles is highly desirable.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Knowledge in SQL, is a plus.
