CNC Programmer-Technician

Our client is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team in Gainesville, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Program CNC machines based on design blueprints and technical drawings.

Select and load appropriate cutting tools for specific machining tasks.

Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and meet required specifications.

Perform troubleshooting and routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.

Conduct quality control checks and testing to verify finished product accuracy.

Operate manual lathes and mills as needed.

Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize machining processes.

Interpret and implement designs using SolidWorks (preferred).

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Proficiency with manual lathes and milling machines.

Strong understanding of CNC machine operations and G-code programming.

Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.Company Description
