Day Time Supervisor - Front of House
We are currently seeking a dependable and service-driven individual to join our team as a Daytime Shift Supervisor at Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer service who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering a consistent and memorable guest experience. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will support daily lunch operations by stepping into supervisory responsibilities, assisting with training, and working closely with the Service Manager to enhance team performance and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Supporting the management team in a supervisory capacity by filling opening, mid, and closing shifts as needed and performing management-level functions:
Supporting as-needed in all FOH positions throughout the shift for resolve
Supporting as-needed in all positions throughout the restaurant
Handling guest complaints using GRACE to provide a quality customer experience
Help guide and coach the Guest Service Specialists to ensure consistency in our FOH approach to guest service issues, communicate issues to the Service Manager
Collaborate with Service Manager on FOH initiatives to improve store performance metrics like check counts, average check, guest satisfaction ratings, beverage cost of goods, and the FOH training program
Participating in management meetings with the administration staff as well as weekly
store management meetings upon request
Leading the team through example by upholding company policies, service standards,
and health department regulations
Assisting the management team with training and cross-training processes, following up
regularly with trainers and trainees to promote consistency and cohesion
Providing insight into employee performance to assist the management team with
employee evaluations, as well as offering constructive feedback and positive
reinforcement to hourly team members throughout each shift
Promoting successful menu change rollouts by studying the instructions and manual
page updates, as well as training the employees
Qualifications:
3-5 years minimum customer service experience, cross-training preferred
Record of exceptional attendance, reliability, and scheduling flexibility
Attention to detail and desire to lead others by example
Ability to communicate effectively with hourly team members and managers
Work Environment:
The position is part to full-time, hourly
The position will report to the Service Manager
