Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a junior to mid-level Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of heavy industrial mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience or formal training in 3D modeling and is eager to grow their engineering career in a project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for mechanical systems, components, and assemblies

Support the design of heavy industrial equipment and machinery

Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements

Assist in prototype development, testing, and documentation

Apply engineering standards and best practices in all design work

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

1–4 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering internships

Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, or similar)

Familiarity with heavy industrial design, structural components, or large mechanical assemblies is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
