Senior Cloud Engineer

Title: Senior Cloud Engineer - Observability Platform

Location: Westlake and Durham

Duration: Long Term

This is not a DevOps Engineer, so any DevOps candidates who get sent are auto rejected. They need to have a programming background and write code along with the AWS, Lambda skills, and some exposure to Observability tools.

The role/skills required:

The associate will be joining the Observability Platform team and will be looking for strong Programming skills within Python, GO could be acceptable as well but most of work is in Python. They will also need strong AWS skills, good background in Kubernetes, and Jenkins/CI/CD skills.

Top Skills:

API Development Exp in Python or GO

Hands on exp in Kubernetes

Hands on AWS exp, building and deploying applications in AWS.

Nice to have:

Datadog

Interview Process: Technical round interview with the team to start. Will involve a paired programming exercise in a programming language of the candidates choice. Behavioral round interview to follow if the coding exercise goes well. There is also a list of prescreening questions I will go through with the candidate before submitting.
