Job Description
Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000+ legal and business professionals in eighteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time Website Specialist to join our firm.
This position plays a key role in managing and enhancing the firm’s digital presence across all web platforms, including the primary website, blogs, microsites, and social media channels. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, design sensibility, and content management experience to ensure our web properties are visually appealing, user-friendly, current, and optimized for performance and SEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update all web properties, including the primary website, global footers and other standard site properties, blogs, social media platforms and mini sites.
Monitor site performance and user behavior to recommend improvements based on analytics and user experience best practices.
Ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and adherence to site standards across all web properties.
Produce regular analytics reports using Google Analytics and other proprietary tools, providing insights and recommendations for strategy adjustments to stakeholders.
Optimize web content for SEO, usability, engagement, mobile responsiveness, and goal completion (KPIs).
Use tools such as SiteImprove to identify and resolve site functionality issues.
Incorporate new functionality to attract return visits and engagement.
Coordinate with business development team members to assist administrative staff and attorneys with posting blog articles, updating bios, etc.
Train various groups in using the firm’s digital tools (CMS, email software, etc.).
Edit and proofread website content for errors with a sharp attention to detail and format.
Serve as the primary point of contact for website updates, coordinating production schedules with internal stakeholders.
Respond to urgent website functionality issues or troubleshooting needs as they arise, including outside of normal working hours when necessary.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, design communication, digital marketing, or relevant field required.
Minimum three years of experience in web content management or online and electronic communications experience.
Solid understanding of the principles of website design and usability best practices.
Experience with domain management and web hosting environments.
Strong SEO knowledge and ability to apply optimization techniques effectively.
Proven experience managing large-scale websites and understanding UX/UI concepts.
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and web analytics products, including a strong understanding of how to create test and debug tags.
Working knowledge of WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong visual design skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for content accuracy and quality.
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to review and contribute to content as needed.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Ability to quickly shift priorities based on business needs and manage requests from various stakeholders.
