Teaching Assistant

You’d support classroom instruction in a juvenile correctional facility, supervise students, and ensure a positive learning environment in the absence of the lead teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor student attendance, behavior, and assignments

Support students in completing teacher-assigned work

Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with treatment teams

Maintain confidentiality and a professional learning environment

Requirements:

Strong classroom management skills

Clear verbal and written communication

Ability to follow structured lesson plans

Willingness to complete training and background checks
