KENT Precision Foods Group, a member of the KENT Corporation family of companies, has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Maintenance Mechanic.

* This position is designed and intended to be performed in Columbus, MS.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Adheres to a maintenance program which includes preventative maintenance.

* Assist in design of maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

* Responds to breakdowns.

* Diagnosis faults.

* Repairs equipment.

* Assist in the inventory of supplies, tools and equipment * Interface effectively with external suppliers and customers.

* Adheres to creating and maintaining impeccable plant standards and conditions.

* Adheres to all Safety practices set forth by OSHA.

* Adheres to HACCP Food Defense plan.

* Adheres to Good Manufacture Practice as set in Sqwincher GMP plan.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma * Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.

* Minimum of 10 years maintenance/mechanical experience.
