Job Title: Tooling Tech & Machinist

Type of Role: Contract to Hire

Shift / Hours: 2pm - 11pm

Location: South San Antonio

Hourly Range: $24.25 - $32.75 (based on experience)

Role and Responsibilities:

Plans, devises, and fabricates various tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures to within precise specifications.

Fix molds to create plastic parts for Toyota and Tesla to name a few

Build Metal Racks

Troubleshooting of any issues with machines or tools

Modify or repair existing tools and dies.

Work involves accomplishing welding that fuses different metals and withstands great strength demands while avoiding distortion.

Will change cutting tools and adjust machine controls to ensure specified timing, clearances, and tolerances

Skills and Experience:

Mechanical Experience- repairing and servicing machines (either manufacturing or industrial)

(1+) yrs Manual Mill and Lathe Operator experience

(1+) yrs Experienced Troubleshoot and detecting equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining

Read sketches, blueprints, and engineering details
