Job Description
Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to support our human resources department in a variety of HR functions. As an HR Coordinator, you will help ensure that our HR procedures run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for coordinating tasks related to hiring, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records. Main Responsibilities:
Receives and screens telephone calls, letters, and/or visitors in the HR department
Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is completed and orientation is conducted.
Maintain employee records, documents, and files. Including terminations, new hires, change or status, and leave of absence
Answers general questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Works with employees to provide guidance regarding benefit selection, benefit counseling, record keeping, claim processing
Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and goal setting.
Prepare reports and metrics related to HR activities.
Maintains all NEO paperwork and delivers HR portion of NEO
Handle and resolve employee inquiries and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
Maintains records and ensures compliance regarding PPD, Hep B, CPR, HWC, SFA certifications
Assists in the placement of job applicants, including the processing of all pre-employment paperwork. Coordinating pre-employment physical. Coordinating hire process with department directors and Human Resources Department.
Requirements
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in an HR role or similar administrative position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
This position may require background screening, drug screen, and reference checks.
