FT Position Available

Position Summary:

The APP will assist in medical care to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care health care services as delegated. The APP is responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.

Essential Functions:

Knowledge of professional theory, discipline of practice, regulations and practices to give and evaluate patient care

Knowledge of acute and chronic care protocols, administration of medications, delivering physical care following treatment plan

Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions and progress and measure/record physiologic and growth indices

Ability to perform medical examinations using standard medical procedures

Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of a dependent medical practitioner

Knowledge of drugs and their indication, contraindications, dosing, side effects and proper administration

Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence

Skills & Abilities

Master's Degree required

Graduate of accredited APRN or PA program

Minimum of one-year experience, preferably in a hospital setting

Current Kansas license
