Sales Representative – Scientific Equipment (Eastern Puerto Rico)
Location: Field-based, Puerto Rico
Job Type: Full-time, Base + Commission
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to expand our footprint in the Manufacturing and Industrial sectors in Eastern Puerto Rico. You will manage a well-established client base while aggressively pursuing new business. This is a strategic, consultative sales role that requires both technical knowledge and customer-centric communication.Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a territory of clients in the Manufacturing and Industrial sectors in Eastern Puerto Rico.
Identify new sales opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships; serve as a trusted advisor.
Present Caribbean Scientific’s full portfolio of products and services, aligning solutions with client needs.
Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturer reps to create competitive proposals.
Maintain accurate records and pipeline tracking using CRM systems.
Execute sales strategies and meet or exceed performance targets.
Travel extensively throughout the territory with periodic visits to the main office.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of B2B sales experience in scientific equipment, laboratory supplies, or technical services (preferred).
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.Preferred Experience
Experience selling to pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing industries.
Prior work in a lab environment or familiarity with regulatory environments (FDA, ISO, etc.).
Understanding of distributor/manufacturer relationships in scientific supply chains.Working Conditions
Field-based with frequent travel across Eastern and Southern Puerto Rico.
Routine office presence required 1–2 times per week.
Role involves light physical activity (e.g. carrying brochures or demo units up to 35 lbs).
