Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Product Manager for Professional Services to design and define the data and AI solutions that our Professional Services engineers build for customers.
This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing solution design to create tailored implementations that solve complex business challenges.
You'll work directly with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solution specifications that our delivery teams execute, ensuring successful outcomes and accelerated time-to-value.
Customer Engagement & Requirements Gathering
Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand business requirements and technical constraints
Translate business objectives into technical solution requirements
Present solution designs and technical recommendations to customer executives and technical teams
Solution Architecture & Design
Design end-to-end data and AI solutions leveraging the Shakudo platform and ecosystem
Create detailed solution architectures, data flows, and integration specifications
Define technical requirements and implementation approaches for custom customer solutions
Solution Specification & Documentation
Develop comprehensive technical specifications for Professional Services delivery teams
Define data models, pipeline architectures, and integration patterns
Document performance requirements, scalability considerations, and operational procedures
Industry Solutions & Use Cases
Design repeatable solutions for common data and AI use cases (real-time analytics, ML operations, Agentic Workflows, GraphRAG)
Create solution accelerators and templates that can be customized for multiple customers
Define best practices for specific industries and technical domains
Delivery Collaboration & Quality Assurance
Partner with Professional Services engineers throughout solution implementation
Review and validate technical implementations against original solution designs
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support during delivery
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and Shakudo quality standards
Success Metrics
Customer satisfaction scores for solution design and delivery
Time-to-value achievement for customer implementations
Solution reusability and standardization across engagements
Revenue growth from Professional Services engagements
Customer reference development and case study creation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical field
5-7 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or customer-facing technical roles
Strong expertise in data platform architectures, data engineering, and analytics solutions
Experience designing enterprise-scale data and AI implementations
Proven track record of translating business requirements into technical solutions
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), data lakes, ETL, GenAI, and ML/AI workflows
Excellent customer presentation and communication skills
Experience working directly with enterprise customers on complex technical projects
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
Experience in data consulting, systems integration, or solution architecture roles
Expertise in specific industry domains (financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing)
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.)
Experience with modern data stack technologies and vendor ecosystem
Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy frameworks
Previous experience in customer-facing product management or technical sales roles
