Location: Kraków
Brown Brothers Harriman is recruiting Junior Operations Specialist Funds Transfer Pay Processing to join our Funds Transfer Team. In this role, you will be responsible for initiation, authorization, investigations and repairing electronic instructions that do not go straight through the process. You will learn and understand various types of wire transfers, industry wide payment formatting conventions (SWIFT) as well as BBH’s own processing requirements. Timeliness and accuracy are the key traits that will help you succeed in this position.
Work Schedule:
This role follows an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Depending on business needs and individual circumstances, there may be an option to transition to standard working hours over time.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively in a team environment to process client instructions accurately and within market deadlines.
Repair and verify transactions in BBH systems, ensuring all items are completed on time.
Participate in all steps of payment processing, including callbacks, and remain flexible to shift between tasks as needed.
Research and resolve unclear or incomplete instructions, escalating issues when appropriate.
Ensure all client deliverables are met in line with Funds Transfer procedures and controls.
Respond professionally to inquiries from internal departments via email or phone, providing timely and accurate information.
Adhere to firm policies and department procedures, especially those related to Funds Transfer.
Promptly escalate any sensitive or risk-related issues to management.

Desired Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
English C1
Demonstrated PC skills
Ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem
Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Ability to multi-task
Professional client service skills
