The Position

As a Senior Manager, Digital and Customer Engagement Capabilities, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with commercial and customer engagement teams along with P&O teams in Region, BA and Affiliates to work on developing and enhancing customer engagement capabilities. Acting as a partner, you will serve as an advisory resource for affiliates and regional leaders on projects aimed at upgrading marketing and medical capabilities. You will report directly to the Director of Digital and Customer Engagement Capabilities.

In this role, you will:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance capabilities across the region.

Create guidance for the organizational structure, defining required roles and job descriptions, establishing onboarding processes, and implementing function- and role-based assessments along with certification pathways for key capabilities.

Align with Individual Development Plans (IDPs), performance management systems, and feed into the Organizational Development Process (ODP).

Coordinate with external vendors

Qualifications

You have at least 6-8 years of experience in the multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably with a proven track of success in capability development (we are not looking for a trainer profile). You will be one of the P&O colleagues with a marketing/medical background, or Marketers/Medical affairs professionals who have worked on capability development initiatives, or Project managers with marketing/ medical affairs background. You have outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English. Moreover you have

Executive presentation skills.

Relevant IT skills and usage of AI tools

We expect that you have

Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse business objectives and align organizational capabilities with strategic goals, including an understanding of capability frameworks.

Organizational Development Expertise: Strong background in organizational design

Collaborative Skills: Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams, building relationships, and facilitating discussions with leadership teams and stakeholders.

Project Management: Experience in leading projects, managing timelines, and aligning resources effectively to ensure successful completion of deliverables.

Analytical Skills: Capability to assess current organizational structures, identify capability gaps, and develop data-driven strategies for improvement.

Vendor Management: Experience in collaborating with external vendors, managing relationships, and ensuring that deliverables align with organizational needs.

Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and practices, enabling smooth transitions during organizational changes.

Role and Job Design: Skills in creating job descriptions, competency frameworks, onboarding processes, and performance management systems.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration, documentation, and facilitation of discussions.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt plans based on organizational needs and changes.

Familiarity with Learning & Development: Understanding of individual development plans (IDPs) and certification pathways to ensure alignment with employee growth and performance.
