Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures
Collaborate with leadership to create and update seasonal and custom drink menus
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, tools, and service areas
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Adhere to all state and local alcohol laws and safety guidelines
Work cooperatively with hosts, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow
Participate in opening and closing bar duties
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including Aloha POS.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices.
Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and preparation.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
Must be able to bend, reach, and stoop frequently
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., kegs, boxes, ice bins)
Manual dexterity to handle bar tools and operate POS systems
Qualifications & Skills
No prior experience required — we will train the right candidate
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Creative mindset and a willingness to suggest drink concepts or menu items
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Able to follow instructions, multitask, and stay organized under pressure
Excellent hygiene and a professional appearance
Strong work ethic, integrity, and punctuality are non-negotiable
Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred (but Not Required)
Knowledge of basic mixology, spirits, and cocktail preparation
Experience in high-volume, customer-facing environments
Familiarity with bar sanitation and food safety practices
Current RAMP or alcohol safety certification (preferred, can be obtained upon hire)
Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in a nightclub or hospitality setting.
Strong cash handling skills with experience operating cash registers or POS systems.
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
Knowledge of food handling practices and relevant health regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills with a focus on providing help and support to customers.
Must be legally able to work in bar environment per local laws and regulations.

Pay: $23.38 - $35.67 per hour
