About the Role
As the Digital Marketing Operations Coordinator, you will be the go-to contact for coordinating and delivering digital marketing assets to Gap Inc.'s pureplay partners. You’ll ensure assets are formatted correctly, metadata and structured data (including JSON) are accurate, and that partners have what they need to execute campaigns successfully in their platforms and markets.
This is a detail-oriented, operational role requiring strong organizational skills, a working understanding of digital asset requirements, and some technical aptitude with data formats and tools.
What You'll Do

Work with structured data to ensure metadata, tagging, and feed content meets partner specifications.
Collaborate with creative, brand, and e-commerce teams to source and adapt assets for multiple digital platforms.
Ensure consistent formatting and naming conventions across asset libraries; troubleshoot issues with file formats and specifications.
Use tools such as JSON or XML to validate and deliver structured data (e.g., product catalogues, campaign data feeds).
Maintain accurate records of asset requests, delivery timelines, and partner requirements.
Support continuous improvement in asset delivery workflows, automation, and partner satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between internal brand teams and external partners to manage expectations and ensure high-quality execution.

2+ years’ experience in digital marketing operations, asset management, or e-commerce support—preferably within a retail or consumer brand environment.
Strong familiarity with digital file types (JPG, PNG, PSD, MP4, etc.) and specifications for online platforms.
Working knowledge of structured data formats such as JSON, XML, or CSV.
Experience working with pureplay retailers is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—able to manage multiple asset deliveries and version control.
Proficiency with tools like Excel/Google Sheets and basic file management systems (e.g., DAMs, shared drives).
Good communication skills; able to work effectively with both creative and technical teams.
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working across time zones and cultures.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with international retail markets and localization challenges.
Experience using a DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform (e.g., Bynder, Adobe Experience Manager).
Familiarity with feed management tools (e.g., Productsup, ChannelAdvisor) or content syndication processes.
Understanding of localization and regional content adaptation for global markets.
Basic HTML or JSON editing capabilities a plus.
