RPO Inc Health is hiring Data Entry Specialist to work in our main office in Boardman the RPO Inc Executive Centre. The Data Entry Specialist will effectively serve as part of the EMR Department, transition patient data to Meditech. To navigate through multiple EMR systems and manually load data into Meditech. To preload patient information: demographic, medications, prior history and documents. To load existing provider schedules from their current system into Meditech.
Essential Duties:
Navigate through multiple EMR systems and manually load data into Meditech.
Preload patient information: demographic, medications, prior history and documents.
Load existing provider schedules from their current system into Meditech.
Collect clinical information pertinent to patient's record, including but not limited to, allergies, home medications, medical and surgical history, demographics, etc.
Ensure all processes at responsible physician practice maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR system, and multiple web browsers.
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic department.
Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Cooperative work attitude toward co-workers, management, patients, visitors, and physicians.
Maintains professional demeanor at all times and act as a role model.
Physical Stamina for working extra hours, if needed.
Maintains professional competence by participating in continuing education and other learning experiences.
Shares knowledge gained in continuing education with staff and informatics department.
Maintains membership in relevant professional organizations.
Acts as a role model to co-workers.
Full-time. Monday-Friday dayshift.
