Engineering Analyst – Nuclear Sector (Contract Role)

Contribute to cutting-edge projects in nuclear energy and thermal systems.

We're hiring for a contract Engineering Analyst to support high-impact design and analysis work for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other nuclear-grade components. This role has a flexible hybrid work model and access to some of the most advanced engineering tools and processes in the industry.

What You’ll Do:

Perform structural and thermal-hydraulic analysis on critical nuclear components, including:

Finite element analysis (FEA)

Heat transfer and CFD analysis

Seismic (response spectrum/time history) and vibration analysis

Support design qualification and code compliance to ASME and CSA standards.

Collaborate with project engineering teams to provide input on specifications, calculations, and final reports.

Contribute to problem-solving for design non-conformances and complex system behavior.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with expertise in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, or heat transfer.

5+ years of experience in FEA using tools like ANSYS, ABAQUS, MathCAD, or MATLAB.

Knowledge of ASME BPVC and/or CSA S16 is a strong asset.

Strong written technical reporting, analytical skills, and collaborative mindset.
