Job Summary Details:
The HVAC Service Apprentice performs maintenance, repairs, and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical, and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.

What You’ll Do:
As an HVAC Service Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced Journeymen to learn the trade, gaining experience in:
Installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, boilers, and air handlers.
️ Troubleshooting electrical & mechanical components like transformers, relays, burners, and thermostats.
Diagnosing system issues and assisting with maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
Learning to read blueprints, schematics & wiring diagrams to improve technical skills.
Assisting with emergency repairs and responding to service calls.
Completing electronic paperwork & logs to document job progress.
Following all safety procedures and maintaining tools and equipment.
What You Need to Apply:
1–2 Years experience preferred.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Must be 18+ years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record.
Willingness to join a local union (or already a member).
