About the Company:

Our client, a respected company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a hands-on Controller to manage day-to-day financial operations and support long-term strategic growth. This role is crucial to maintaining accurate, timely, and insightful financial data that informs key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial reports, including cost accounting and inventory management

Assist with tax compliance (sales/use tax, jurisdictional filings, etc.)

Maintain banking and cash flow activities, including reconciliations and deposits

Lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning

Monitor and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

Qualifications:

Ideally 5-10 years of accounting experience

2+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage both transactional work and higher-level financial strategy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in accounting software and Excel
