Description
Production Scheduler/Shipping coordinator
Works within Moraware solid surface planning software
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders
Coordinates with purchasing to ensure materials are available to meet production targets by analyzing material demand
Collaborates with Division Manager, Sales and Project management to provide lead times and delivery dates
Prepares daily work orders for the floor, collects end of day production forms and updates the system and close work orders
Attends weekly project management meetings
Does once a week raw materials inventory (30 min)
Works with the shipping department to ensure correct paperwork is issued
Collects Dimensions/weights of shipments
Generates packing lists
Schedules LTL, Truckload and direct shipments of product to customers
$25/hr

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or its equivalent
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions and customer order sheets
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
