Extruder Machine Operator

OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!

Location: Newburg, Oregon

Compensation: $18-20/hr. DOE

Schedule: 2nd Shift. Mon-Thurs 1 or 2pm to 11:30pm/12:30ampm with occasional overtime opportunities on Fridays

Training will be 6-8 weeks on Mid-shift Mon-Thurs 10 or 11am to 8/9pm.

Who We Are:

Local manufacturing company who produces dental components and materials for the medical field is looking for a extruder operator

What You'll Do:

The clients expectation is to train in extrusion operations and eventually cross train as a back up for shipping! As an extruder operator, you will work with machines that custom-extrude rubber to precise dimensions. These machines require constant attention and monitoring to ensure high-quality production. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cleaning dies, operating and controlling the machines, identifying and handling materials, and performing installation and inspections. While the work environment is casual, the role itself can be challenging, particularly during the learning process. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality are essential for success in this position.

What You Need to Have:

-Previous extruder experience

-Knowledge of machine operation

-Reliable transportation

-Great attitude

Preferred:

-Any shipping/reviving experience

-Forklift Operation
