Monday to Friday:

£12.50 per hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our well-established client based in the Salford M50.

One hour break (30 minutes of which is paid)

Day to Day Duties

As a Quality Technician your duties will be, but not limited to:

Inspecting raw materials, monitoring products throughout the manufacturing process, and ensuring they meet specifications and regulations

Ensure consistent quality of the raw materials and the raw materials feed through routine testing

Compliance with laboratory test methods

Support management of the laboratory equipment calibration

Identifying defects, investigating root causes, and working with production teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence

Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances

Responsible for the hygiene / cleaning of the laboratory and its equipment

Adhering to company quality standards, procedures, and relevant regulations

Essential Skills

Skills needed to be a Quality Technician with our client are:

Basic level of English

Reliable and punctual

Good communication skills

Computer literate

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Experience of customer service is desirable

Experience of working in a product testing environment is desirable
