Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• A tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing or a related field will be an advantage.
• Hotel Sales Executive 2 – 3 years experience in a similar Hotel Sales Executive role within the hospitality industry at a 4-5* Property.
• Valid drivers licence and Own vehicle.
• The ability to work independently. Attend weekly Teams meeting, and bi-weekly meetings in Polokwane
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation Skills.
• Attentive to customer needs and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of market trends and social media platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Implement effective sales strategies to maximize Hotel occupancy and revenue.
• Create promotional material and marketing campaigns to attract suited clientele.
• Research new markets and business opportunities to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Represent Hotels in various exhibition events, trade shows, and networking events.
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of potential and existing clients.
• Prepare sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the Hotel.
• Review the customer service quality of the Hotel to ensure customers are tended to properly and resolve customer complaints.
• Create and maintain customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service and building sustainable relationships with clients
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers to enable future bookings.
• Set annual sales budgets, reports and forecast.
• Implement effective strategies for achieving sales targets. Conduct assessment of sales performance and implement improvements to sales processes and strategies.
• Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
