Responsibilities:
Monitoring and controlling customer transactions, ensuring due date control, and managing outstanding lists for follow-up.
Monitoring and checking instruction memos and ensuring all transactions related to the loan department are booked in the Standard SMILE system.
To check and verify the vouchers related to Loans Operation, Deposit Operation inclusive of foreign remittance and customer account maintenance, Trade Finance Operation, Global Market Operation. This includes checking of SWIFT applications for these transactions.
Preparing periodic reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and yearly) related to Labuan Operations for Local Management/ Head Office / Regulatory Submission.
Maintain records and control due dates for future contracts and SWAP transactions.
Performing end-of-day balancing on daily operations and confirming online closing with EDP staff.
Control unprocessed transactions list for Labuan Operations.
Acting as a backup Transaction Operator (Maker) when required, raising SMILE input vouchers related to loans, time deposits, remittances, and other related operations.
Supervise and guide staff, ensuring adherence to bank procedures and regulations.
Review the Department Standard Procedures in accordance to Global Policy and Standards and update internal procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Perform risk assessments and promote a risk-aware culture.
Requirements:
Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from an accredited university/higher learning institution.
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a Bank.
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and professional in both written and spoken English language, any other 2nd language will be an added advantage
Has good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
High Proficiency in MS Office applications Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Adaptive in a new environment, flexible and has the ability to work well independently; as well as in a team with minimal supervision
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Willing to multi-task in areas that is above and beyond daily/business-as-usual activities.
