E-Logic is seeking a Junior Programmer to support FDA's Division of Applied Regulatory Science (DARS) by providing skilled personnel and technical expertise. As part of this support, The Junior Programmer will provide project oversight, support database enhancements, and manage timelines and resources to meet FDA objectives for DASH maintenance and development. The candidate may occasionally be required to travel to FDA's local offices in Maryland area, depends on the agency's need.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight of tasks related to DASH enhancements
Assist in evaluating and implementing improvements to database architecture and IT platforms
Coordinate project activities and maintain documentation (SOPs, data definitions, user guides)
Develop and maintain project work plans, timelines, and deliverable tracking
Conduct bi-weekly status meetings and updates with FDA COR and Business Lead
Monitor deliverables and resolve project-related issues
Support integration and interoperability efforts with other FDA IT systems
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree required
4+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years in project management
Experience with large-scale databases, particularly Microsoft Access at an enterprise level
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Preferred: Experience working with FDA or other federal/state government agencies.
Please note: This is a temporary position limited to a total of 260 hours of work per year. This position is part of a proposal being submitted by E-Logic to FDA. Hiring is contingent upon E-Logic being awarded the contract. The selected candidate will be included as part of our proposed project team to help meet the College's objectives efficiently and effectively.
