Injection Mold Process Tech. Supervisor

OpSource Pro has partnered with a plastic injection molding and precision machining manufacturer in Inman, SC.

Pay for the position: $30 - $35/hr. DOE

Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday (Occasional OT when required)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set and pull specific molds in accordance to production schedule

• Set-up, establish, process, and troubleshoot injection machines using a wide variety of plastic resins

• Make process adjustments when parts are not within quality specifications

• Document machine process settings and changes on required forms

• Work with robotics and other automated auxiliary equipment

• Clean area of previous materials and tools and forward paperwork to Production Control

• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education

• At least five years experience as a plastic process technician

• Strong mechanical, technical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Experience with Nissei, JSW, and Mitsubishi molding machines a plus

• Experience with RJG and scientific molding techniques a plus

• Must have a strong commitment to quality, productivity and team performance

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

NOTE: Facility is not climate-controlled. It will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
