In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and AI technologies to analyze complex datasets and develop actionable insights.
You will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to drive business decisions and innovation.
You will research, build, and design AI systems that automate predictive models and design and create algorithms capable of learning and making predictions that define machine learning.
You will work with the data science team to design algorithms to meet the customers operational requirements.
This position will work closely with the operations team performing Deployment, Systems Integration Testing, and Operations and Maintenance activities.
Responsibilities Statistical and Machine Learning Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series) to solve complex business problems.
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
Work with large datasets to perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
AI Technologies: Develop solutions using AI technologies such as deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
Explore and experiment with new machine learning techniques to push the boundaries of data science applications.
Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement robust data pipelines for the collection, cleaning, transformation, and processing of large-scale datasets.
Ensure efficient data handling, storage, and access across multiple systems and databases.
Ethical Data Management: Maintain a deep understanding of data privacy, ethics, and compliance frameworks, ensuring all data handling and modeling practices align with relevant regulations.
Develop and enforce best practices for handling sensitive and confidential data within the company.
Insight Generation & Presentation: Convert complex data and analytical results into clear, concise insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver actionable data insights that influence strategic decisions.
Present findings to executives and business leaders in an easy-to-understand format that facilitates decision-making and drives action.
Programming & Tool Expertise: Use Python, R, and other programming languages to manipulate data and build scalable, efficient models and analytics pipelines.
Leverage industry-standard libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) for machine learning and data manipulation.
Write reusable, modular, and maintainable code for long-term use and future model development.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Work cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and business leaders to ensure the successful application of data science techniques.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists or team members on best practices, code quality, and analytical techniques.
Model Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy model results for operational decisions into near real time production environments that meet performance, scalability, reliability and operational requirements.
Continuously monitor model performance and refine models to improve accuracy and efficiency over time.
Qualifications 10+ years of IT experience focusing on enterprise data architecture and management Bachelor's degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science) Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance Proven experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models.
Strong understanding of data privacy, ethical data practices, and regulatory compliance.
Expertise in Python and R with advanced knowledge of relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in AI technologies like NLP and computer vision is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to continuously learn and stay up to date on new trends and technologies in AI and ML.
