CLASS TITLE: District Administrator/Federal Programs
(This is a Part-time Position)
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
BASIC FUNCTION:
To ensure that each student is provided with the richest educational experience the district can provide.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Provide technical assistance to Title I schools
Monitor compliance with federal policies and federal laws
Coordinate services for schools identified as Title I
Maintain records/expenditures for Title I-A, Title II-A, and Title III and all Federal Programs
Prepares/Manages Consolidated Applications
Provide technical assistance to Private Schools receiving federal funds
Participate in professional organizations, workshops and staff development activities and applies learned knowledge to job; accepts new challenges in a professional manner.
Reports to immediate supervisor about status of programs, changes in rules and regulations
Reports to immediate supervisor program and budget recommendations concerning area of responsibility
Supervises and evaluates assigned personnel
Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in the use of internet, email and other computer applications as applicable to job responsibilities
Communicates with private and home schools regarding federal programs
Prepare/Submit Declaration of Participation for Title I, Title II, Title III, Title VI
Prepare/Submit/Monitors budgets for Title I, Title II, Title III, Title VI and all Federal Programs
Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality.
Adhere to the appropriate code of ethics.
Maintain regular attendance.
Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the Superintendent.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree
Knowledge of Federal Programs
Valid Kentucky Teacher certification
At least three (3) years of successful teaching experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience preferred of working with Federal Programs, grants, and budgets.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
30 extended days. Salary and work year to be established by the board of education.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of board policy for certified personnel.
