Position Overview:
ACPA is on the lookout for exceptional candidates to join our team as Instructional Aides for the current school year. As an Instructional Aide, you will report to the High School Principal and work collaboratively with fellow department members, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers in delivering creative and rigorous subject-specific curriculum and daily lessons.
Assist in managing classroom activities and instruction.
Lead individual and small group instruction and remediation as directed by classroom teachers.
Collaborate with Classroom Teachers and Intervention Specialists to implement individual educational plans (IEP's) for students.
Contribute to the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, including student data collection, executive functioning support, lesson reinforcement, and individual student check-ins.
Be present and available in the school building for student, parent, staff, and administration interactions.
Provide coverage when necessary, allowing teachers to take breaks, address absences, or seek support.
Fulfill assigned supervision duties as directed by the administration, including participation in school events such as New Student Orientations and Graduation.
Cultivate an inclusive, creative, safe, and anti-bullying school environment, embodying ACPA's core values within classroom structures and lessons.
Attend an assigned supervision duty, which may include morning bus, lunchroom, or afternoon bus duty.
Actively participate in scheduled professional development in-service days and attend after-school staff and committee meetings every Monday.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
Ohio State Substitute License or ParaPro License.
Experience or a strong desire to work in an arts-focused and progressive school environment.

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and education, based on the salary schedule.
