Town Planning Cadet - full-time maximum period of months

Town Planning Cadet - full-time maximum period of up to 24 months Mid-Western Regional Council is offering a graduate opportunity to an eligible and suitable candidate completing their Bachelor's Degree in Town Planning.

The cadet will be mentored by Council employees in our Statutory Planning team.

You will be paid a wage while studying your degree, and your university fees will be paid by Council for the duration of the cadetship.

You are required to pay your course fees.

You must have no more than 2 years (full-time) remaining on your degree, evidence is required.

In order to meet the requirements of the Cadetship, successful completion of training and tertiary studies is required.

35 hour week, with an RDO every 4 weeks Health & Wellbeing program Professional Learning and Development opportunities You Currently enrolled in or studying in your penultimate or final year a Bachelor of Planning (or equivalent) at a registered training organisation.

General computer literacy including basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and email and internet programs Demonstrated interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills Ability to apply planning theory to real-work situations Strong organisational skills and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities Capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Highly motivated and willingness to learn The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,249.80 - $2,460.80 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $58,494.80 - $63,980.80 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
