About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Your primary goal will be to stabilize patients and transport them to the appropriate medical facility for further treatment as the provider with the highest level of care. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and dedication.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CT Paramedic certification
Current AHA CPR certification
AHA PALS certification
AHA ACLS certification
Valid driver's license
Valid CT Medical Control
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a pre-hospital setting
Experience working with diverse patient populations
Enthusiastic and coachable
Responsibilities:
Responding to emergency calls and providing medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting
Assessing patient conditions and providing appropriate treatment
Administering medications and performing advanced medical procedures as needed
Transporting patients to the appropriate medical facility for further treatment
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient care records
Lifting patients and heavy equipment
Skills:
As a Paramedic, you will use your skills in Emergency Medicine, Emergency Services, Emergency Medical, Emergency Management, EMS Education, First Aid, Fire Safety, Disaster Response, and Hazmat Operations on a daily basis. You will need to be able to think quickly and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations. You will also need to have excellent communication skills in order to work effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will need to be able to work well as part of a team and be willing to collaborate with others to provide the best possible care to patients.
