QA/QC Manager
Pay: $50-60 hourly with OT potential (Annual Comp range $130-$180k with OT)
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with a background in the Mission Critical electrical data center space. The QA/QC Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring proper equipment and installation standards. Day-to-day operations include planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and electrical codes.
Responsibilities:
Participation in design reviews, providing constructability feedback to contracted engineering firms, and providing input to design package schedules to support an integrated construction schedule.
Ensure that the installation contractor has met customer and industry standard installation requirements.
Manage the safe and successful completion of all electrical work, ensuring projects are completed with the highest degree of accuracy and success.
Work with Superintendents and Foremen to plan and organize construction project activities.
Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project. Formulate reports for work progress and closures of issues.
Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities.
Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
Perform and manage final quality assurance inspection on equipment.
Answering all technical questions during project execution.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years managing Electrical QA/QC teams, and 5+ years working in the Electrical QA/QC space. Data Center experience is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or 10+ years of field electrical experience combined with Electrical Foreman/Superintendent level supervision.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of electrical equipment.
Knowledge of low voltage, medium voltage, high voltage, and three-phase power systems.
Experience with Bluebeam and Revit systems.
Experience with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards is highly preferred (CEST, CESCP, CESW, or CEI certification/training).
