Position: ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER – CUSTOM MILLWORK

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Solicit and quote custom millwork jobs, which ensures for quality work at an acceptable gross profit ratio and that positively contributes to the overall profitability and future growth of ISI.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Solicit bids for custom millwork jobs;
2. Generate and provide quotes to designated clients that clarify scope of work in conjunction with drawings and information provided by client;
3. Provide estimated hours and scope of work requirements for ISI account manager(s) who may have custom millwork jobs as a part of a larger project;
4. Consistently report and timely respond to the Supervisor concerning matters and/or jobs involved in;
5. Competently address and clarify any questions regarding site working conditions in writing prior to submitting a proposal;
6. Provide the proposal to the assigned project coordinator with a detailed scope of work and estimated hours for each section of the proposal. This information will be necessary for the project coordinator to schedule manpower and type of special skills that may be necessary;
7. Document on proposal any special tools required for the job to project coordinator, which he or she will request from ISI’s equipment coordinator, who will be responsible for getting the appropriate tools to the jobsite;
8. Assist project coordinator in clarifying tools and equipment needs based on a change of scope of work;
9. Keep Supervisor regularly and timely updated regarding any change orders or any circumstances (i.e., work of other contractors, undelivered materials) which would prevent such work from being completed as scheduled;
10. Ensure that all change orders are to be approved in writing by the client or their representative prior to doing any work;
11. If there is a question regarding whether a change order was a part of the original proposal, Tim Selep will review with the client for a resolution;
12. Assist field staff with questions regarding any product installation issues or unusual site situations;
13. Visit jobsites as needed or directed by Supervisor;
14. Assist ISI A/R staff in collecting payments and review weekly A/R aging report for applicable clients;
15. Attempt to resolve any disputes with client regarding nonpayment for work not completed or dissatisfaction with the quality of work with immediate notice to Supervisor;
16. Inform Supervisor concerning any and all material issues, including, without limitation, any items listed herein, in a timely manner and in writing; and
17. Other responsibilities as may be deemed in the best interest of the organization when assigned by the CEO and/or Supervisor.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Organized and able to multitask;
2. Effective time management;
3. Familiarity with custom millwork and its architectural and ancillary requirements;
4. Ability to effectively communicate with account manager(s), project coordinator(s), clients, and other co-workers; and
5. Effectively and efficiently operate Microsoft software and programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. 60% in office and use of computer
2. 30% on-site
3. 10% lifting equipment not to exceed 40 lbs.

Responsibilities may require occasional use of personal vehicle. Employee must have valid state-issued driver’s license and evidence of at least minimum insurance coverage as required by the State of Illinois.Company Description
