We are specifically looking for candidates with:
Direct experience in the transformer manufacturing industry.
Proven background in engineering planning, documentation control, and cross-functional coordination.
Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Monday.com, and experience handling GTPs, BOMs, drawings, and datasheets.
The Engineering control, planning, and documentation responsibilities critical to this role.
Need a candidate who have:
Worked in transformer design, engineering coordination, or documentation roles
Experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments
Exposure to engineering release processes and inter-departmental workflows
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years in transformer project engineering, design coordination, or documentation
Familiarity with SAP, drawing workflows, BOM structures, and engineering records Working knowledge of Monday.com, Excel/Sheets, and dashboard/reporting tools
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination and follow-up
Clear understanding of transformer deliverables and design release sequences
Primary Responsibilities
1. Engineering Execution Oversight
Maintain a real-time tracker (via SAP + Monday.com) for all confirmed orders and RFQs across verticals.
Monitor engineering output across electrical and mechanical teams including GTPs, wiring diagrams, drawings, BOMs.
Track and enforce engineering task commitments through structured follow-up and daily status reviews.
2. Kickoff & Planning
Ensure Engineering Kickoff Forms are fully filled and reviewed for every new SAP-confirmed order.
Allocate engineering resources weekly based on workload, priorities, and order type.
Lock deliverables in Monday.com for transparency and performance tracking.
3. Inter-Team & Cross-Functional Coordination
Liaise daily with engineering vertical leads (electrical & mechanical), Planning, SCM, Production, and QA to ensure smooth workflow.
Escalate any delays, input gaps, or misalignments to Head of Engineering or COO.
Coordinate document readiness for testing, FAT, inspection, and production.
4. Documentation & Data Control
Maintain an organized version-controlled archive of issued drawings, BOMs, and datasheets.
Assist engineers in identifying reference designs from past projects to reduce turnaround.
Maintain a rework/issues log for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Strategic Responsibilities
Tag and classify past engineering records to support future AI/data analytics efforts.
Co-develop SOPs and checklists with the Design Head to institutionalize process discipline.
Track department KPIs including average document cycle time, reuse %, issue rate, and engineering release hit rate.
